Barton Bike Night 2026: Honouring the Past, Bringing the Bikes Back

There is something special about the sound of bikes rolling into Barton upon Humber.

For years, Barton Bike Night has brought riders, families, local businesses, traders, visitors and the wider community together in the heart of the town. Since 1997, it has grown into one of Barton’s most recognised annual events — a night filled with bikes, conversation, familiar faces, new memories and the unmistakable atmosphere that only Bike Night can bring.

As we look ahead to Barton Bike Night 2026, we are proud to begin a fresh chapter in the event’s story.

This year, a fresh committee has stepped forward to help carry Barton Bike Night forward. We know we are starting from where others left off, and we know there are big shoes to fill. The event exists today because of the people who gave their time, energy, knowledge and commitment over many years. Previous organisers, sponsors, volunteers, marshals, local businesses, residents and supporters all played their part in building something that means a great deal to Barton and the biking community.

We respect that history.

Now, our aim is to build on it.

A Fresh Committee, Same Barton Spirit

Barton Bike Night has always been about more than one evening in the calendar. It is about community. It is about local pride. It is about bikes, riders, businesses and people coming together to create something memorable in the streets of Barton upon Humber.

For 2026, the new committee is focused on keeping that spirit alive while bringing fresh energy, clearer communication and renewed focus to the event.

Our direction is simple:

Back to the bikes.
Back to the streets.
Back to our roots.

That means putting motorcycle culture at the centre of Barton Bike Night once again. Food, music, entertainment and traders all help create a great night, but the heart of the event has always been the bikes and the people who ride them.

This year, we want to welcome more motorcycles, more bike-related displays, more clubs, more custom builds, more classics, more restorations, more trikes, more cruisers, more sports bikes and more genuine biker interest back into the centre of the event.

We want Barton Bike Night to feel like Barton Bike Night.

Bringing More Bikes Back to Barton

One of our main goals for 2026 is to encourage more bike-related involvement across the event.

We are especially keen to hear from motorcycle clubs, custom builders, classic bike owners, restoration projects, specialist traders, parts suppliers, clothing and accessory sellers, race and motorsport displays, biker charities, community groups and anyone with something genuinely connected to motorcycle culture.

Barton Bike Night has always had a strong identity, and that identity comes from the machines, the riders and the passion behind them.

Whether you ride every day, restore bikes in your spare time, run a bike-related business, belong to a club, or simply love being around motorcycles, this event is for you.

Thank You to Our 2026 Main Sponsors

An event of this scale does not happen without support.

Behind the scenes, there is a huge amount of work involved in making Barton Bike Night possible: planning, promotion, safety, road management, insurance, equipment, administration, permissions, volunteer coordination and support from local organisations.

That is why our sponsors matter so much.

We would like to give a sincere thank you to our main Barton Bike Night 2026 sponsors:

Wren Made for Living

Keigar Homes

Barton upon Humber Town Council

Arbor Forest Products Ltd

The Wheatsheaf

The George Inn

The Red Lion Pub & Local

The Old Mill / Marston’s

Your support is helping make this year’s event possible.

By standing behind Barton Bike Night, you are helping bring bikes, visitors and community spirit back into the town. You are supporting local trade, local hospitality, local pride and a long-running Barton tradition that continues to mean so much to so many people.

On behalf of the committee and everyone who loves this event:

Thank you.

Thank You to Everyone Making Bike Night Possible

Alongside our main sponsors, we also want to recognise every person, business and organisation helping behind the scenes.

Barton Bike Night depends on teamwork.

It depends on volunteers who give up their time. It depends on local businesses who support the event, welcome visitors and help create the atmosphere around town. It depends on traders, display stands, community groups, residents, marshals, photographers, contributors, local services and everyone who helps make the event safe, enjoyable and memorable.

Some people will be visible on the night. Others will never be seen by the public. But every bit of support matters.

To everyone helping with planning, promotion, sponsorship, volunteering, trade applications, displays, safety, local support, logistics, photography, history, advice and community backing — thank you.

This year’s Barton Bike Night is being built by the community, for the community, with bikes at its heart.

Why We Built the Official Website

The launch of the official Barton Bike Night website is an important step forward.

This website is not just here to advertise one date. It has been created to give Barton Bike Night a proper year-round home.

Through the website, we aim to share official updates, promote our sponsors, support local businesses, highlight bike-related events, share useful information, showcase community stories and build a proper archive of Barton Bike Night’s history.

We also want the website to help promote relevant local events and businesses throughout the year — not just during Bike Night week.

Barton Bike Night brings thousands of people into the town, but the community around it exists all year round. This website gives us a way to keep that connection alive.

Help Us Build the Barton Bike Night Archive

Because Barton Bike Night dates back to 1997, there is a huge amount of history out there.

Old photos. Videos. Posters. Programmes. Newspaper cuttings. Stories. Memories from riders, volunteers, traders, residents, pubs, shops, clubs and families.

We would love to start collecting and sharing that history properly through the official website.

If you have photos or videos from previous Barton Bike Nights, especially from the early years, we would love to hear from you. We are also interested in stories from people who have helped, attended, traded, volunteered, performed, marshalled or supported the event in any way.

Every photo and every memory helps tell the story of Barton Bike Night.

Barton Bike Night 2026 will take place on Wednesday 1st July 2026, from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, in Barton upon Humber Town Centre.

As a fresh committee, we are proud to continue the event’s story. We are grateful to those who came before us. We are thankful to our sponsors and everyone helping behind the scenes. Most of all, we are excited to welcome bikes, riders, families, traders, visitors and the wider community back into Barton for another unforgettable Bike Night.

There is plenty of work ahead, but the direction is clear.

More bikes.

We look forward to seeing you there.
